These are the questions LA homeowners ask us most: what we build, how
repairs work, what drives cost, and when permits come into play.
Don't see yours? Call us and ask the crew directly.
We work across Minneapolis and the Twin Cities metro — Bloomington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Shakopee, Maple Grove, Blaine and Anoka, plus South St. Paul and the surrounding communities. If you are anywhere in the metro, call and we will tell you straight whether your project fits our schedule.
What services do you offer?
Commercial masonry restoration — factories, apartment buildings, churches, schools and storefronts — plus residential chimney rebuilds and repair, liner systems, tuckpointing, brick and masonry repair, retaining walls, concrete work, concrete driveways, and walkways and steps. If it is built from brick, block, stone or concrete, it is what we do all day.
Do you work for property managers and general contractors?
Yes — a large share of our work is commercial: direct for property managers, associations and building owners, and as the masonry scope under general contractors. You get an on-the-wall assessment, a written prioritized scope, crews that respect occupied buildings, and a closeout walk at the end.
Do you handle repairs, or only bigger projects?
Both, constantly. A few spalled bricks, a cracked crown, a settling stoop — small repairs are how big problems get prevented, and we treat them as real work. If the masonry can be saved with repair, that is what we quote; if it is past saving, we say so and price the honest fix.
How much will my project cost?
Every honest masonry number starts with seeing the wall, because the price lives in the details: how far the deterioration runs, height and access, matching requirements, and what is underneath. We assess, talk through options, and give you a written price. What we do not do is guess over the phone.
Can you match my existing brick and mortar?
Matching is a core skill of restoration work and we take it seriously — brick matched on size, color range and texture, mortar matched on color, joint profile and, on older buildings, hardness. On historic walls we approve a sample area before running the full scope, so the repair disappears instead of announcing itself.
How long does a typical project take?
Small repairs run a day or two. Chimney rebuilds typically run a few days once scaffolding is up. Driveways go from tear-out to drivable in about a week. Commercial restoration scopes are phased and scheduled around your building — you get a realistic timeline with the estimate, and you hear about anything unexpected the day it comes up.
How do I get started?
